Issued in Fort Hood Texas 1st December 1971

2nd Armoured Division (Hell on Wheels)
To a Lieutenant T.David
Appointing him Honorary Lifetime membership
In the 2nd Armoured Division-
For “Outstanding Duty Performance “
Whilst assigned as a member of “Hell on Wheels”

Frame has suffered a couple of knocks over the years
And as per pic the glass is cracked in one corner
I’ve secured the back with some extra thumb tacks
Could be reframed very easily if someone wanted to.

No idea if this is researchable or not
It’s something I’ve never seen before .
Interesting item the Vietnam / Cold War period.
