WW2 Period US Army Officers Peaked cap.
Some minor moth nips to the top
(As per photos but still displays well)
A small section of of loose stitching on the sweat
(The rest is very *firmly attached j)
Label in-sweat band Size 7 -
Liner stamped “Art Caps New York .”
Clear plastic liner cover ,with an empty name pocket
Wide brown leather chinstrap ,
Brown leather peak,
Two gilt side buttons
Large brass ? US Eagle insignia to the front
(Held by large screw back fixing)
A nice cap , a little bit of moth as per photo,
But otherwise there’s nothing really wrong with it
A good addition to any collection.
