POST WAR BRITISH RAC HELMET (ARMOURED CORPS)

Almost Mint Royal Armoured corps helmet.
With net ,liner and chinstrap.

Helmet shell with green textured pained finish
(With some minor chipping to the edge / rim )
No visible markings that I can see -
If there were any they’ve been painted over
Exceptional condition “Lift the dot liner “
(Hinge still in place !)
Appears undated but is sized at 71/2
The “Oilskin/ Rexine” is supple without tears / cracks
There is a white painted stamp to the liner,
But unfortunately it’s totally unreadable.
With its Green eleasticated chinstrap.
A net cover has been added at some point .
A nice addition to any collection,
(Or used for re-enactment)
