WWI CASED MARINEGLAS X6 GERMAN BINOCULARS

Pair of Imperial German Military Binoculars.
(With original leather neck strap)
Contained in their Brown leather case
With its adjustable carry strap.

Binoculars are marked -
Carl Zeiss Jena , MARINEGLAS 6X
Have a brass body with leather cover
Adjustable horn or Bakelite eye pieces
Lenses are good and clean / clear without damage

Case is brown leather with white metal fittings ,
Closure strap is sprung and works locks perfectly
Shoulder / carry strap is adjustable.
1 x small repair to the strap
(Piece of leather glued over a weak spot )
Loss of chrome to the leather in places
Otherwise a very nice honest pair of WW1 binoculars

The Marineglas was produced from 1907/08 ,
Production finally ceased in 1917 .
