PRE WW2 GPO BLACK LEATHER JERKIN

Very unusual 1936 dated British General Post Office Jerkin
Small in size (I mean small !) Approx. 34-36" chest
Double Breasted Black Leather
With 4 x pockets & an adjustable strap to the back
Missing 3 x buttons (1 loose in the pocket)
Lined with soft kid type leather
Date stamped as per photo GPO 1936
I've never come across one of these before
I'm assuming it may have been issued to linesmen
Or possibly to those on Mail Trains
Leather is in very good supple condition
No tears or splits.
The lining is a little grubby through wear but undamaged
Unusual collectable item (Find another !!)
